Apple is being sued by a American medical hardware specialist suppliers, Man & Machine, over the use of the "Mighty Mouse" product name.
The case against both Apple, and the CBS network, which owns the rights to the cartoon superhero mouse of the same name, is for alleged trademark infringement.
Man & Machine says Apple began selling its Mighty Mouse over 1 year after they began selling waterproof and chemical resistant mice under the same name in 2004.
Apple licensed use of the "Mighty Mouse" from CBS, but Man & Machine states that CBS did not have the right to license the name in the context of an input device, hence why they are also included in the suit.
