Fujifilm adds A850 to camera range

A point-and-shooter

Fujifilm has launched a new point-and-shoot camera in shape of the A850.

The new camera features 8.1 megapixels, a 3x optical lens and Image Intelliegence processing that ensures images are optimised for colour, tone, exposure and colour balance, no matter the conditions. This makes the camera a great choice for beginners as good images are produced without too much effort on your part.

The A850 also employs picture stabilisation, movie recording with sound and selectable scene modes. There are 14 different modes to choose from, including Beach, Snow, Sports and Museum mode, so you can choose the right one for the situation.

As with most consumer electronics these days, it isn't just the tech but also what it looks like that counts. Luckily the A850 doesn't disappoint. A metallic finish, sculpted grip and sturdy overall feel mimics cameras found at a higher price point.

The A850 will be available from July, but there have been no prices announced at this time. We'll let you know as soon as we have it.
