The digital box office service, run by The British Internet Broadcasting Company (BiBC), plans to offer movies, comedy and music videos online ahead of more high profile launches by Apple, Napster and Netflix.

Companies that have signed up to deliver their content via BiBC's digital box office include Sanctuary, V2, ITN, Laughing Stock and Vital.
