Denon AH-D2000 headphones launch

Denon has launched its second high-end "reference class" headphone, a closed design, based on the £500 AH-D5000.

With an extended frequency response of 5-45,000Hz and large rigid 50mm diaphragms using latest Microfiber technology, the new 'phones boast an Acoustic Optimizer and are made with an advanced composite housing for superior acoustic characteristics with a lightweight magnesium frame.

Described as "superbly comfortable" for long listening sessions, Denon promise high build quality with gold-plated connectors and even the cabling tip-top quality.

The Denon AH-D2000 "Magnesium" headphones will go on sale for £249.99.
