QDOS has announced the launch of a new iPod speaker set up, the Sound Frame, due out in July.
Made for the iPod touch in particular, it's described as a "unique portable, lightweight and elegant speaker dock" that can also be used with the iPhone, and other 'pods with the universal connector.
Offering something a little different design-wise, the Sound Frame can be rotated 90 degrees to suit video playback or used in the vertical position for bog standard music.
It docks and charges the iPod while it plays and can run off AC or battery power. Weighing in at 224 grams and measuring 130 x 130 x 29mm, it offers an output of 2 x 1.5 watts.
Pricing and availability are to be confirmed closer to the device's launch later in the summer so we'll bring you more then.
