Back to Blu

Paramount was the last Hollywood studio to confirm its commitment to the Blu-ray format after the demise of HD DVD early this year, but the company is making up for it by announcing it will re-issue its entire Blu-ray back catalogue before this month is out.
Paramount did offer movies on the Blu-ray format until its surprise announcment last summer that it was going exclusively HD DVD.
Just days after the studio announced it would be re-issuing a select number of discontinued Blu-ray catalog titles this spring, Paramount then confirmed it is returning its entire Blu-ray back catalog to store shelves by the end of May.
Paramount says that the titles are identical to the original releases with the same tech specs, supplement details, and packaging.
