More of a news flash than any hard and fast facts at this stage, a Palm insider has provided some leaked info on two new mobiles the smartphone maker is currently preparing for launch. The two new Palm devices, currently codenamed Zeppelin and Skywriter, have been confirmed via a developer programme document sent out to Palm's developer partners who would make applications for the devices.
The developer deadline in the document is 30 May, leading to speculation that the launch of the device is scheduled for Q3 2008.
The handset codenamed Zeppelin is assumed to be the forthcoming rumoured Treo 800w, a Windows Mobile 6.1 device with GPS and Wi-Fi.
Although little more is known about the spec of the new phones, other "unconfirmed sighting reports" from another Palm insider have described a Centro-like Windows Mobile device - assumed to be the Skywriter.
