We like a neat plugin over here at Pocket-lint.And Polar Rose fits the bill quite nicely thank you.
Currently available for Firefox and IE (which has literally just arrived), Polar Rose is a smart engine that helps to identify people in publicly available images.
It's in private beta testing at the moment, but it's worth signing up now as invitations to become an "explorer" for the project will be issued soon and then you can help to identify anybody you recognise in images on the web.
We like this idea and will be watching with interest.
