Two models have been added to Canon's Selphy line-up of compact printers - the CP770 and CP760.Portability is the focus for the CP770 which has an integrated storage case, carry handle and optional battery pack.
But both models are aimed at family users with simple user interfaces, easy button layouts and menu support in seven different languages.
Both feature a 2.5-inch angled colour TFT LCD, using which you can access the auto image correction tools including Face Brightness optimisation; and auto red-eye correction.
They offer direct printing from memory cards, as well as wireless printing via IrDA (in the CP770 only) or using an optional Bluetooth adaptor.
Prints are claimed to last 100 years, and come in a variety of different sizes – including standard print sizes, credit-card size papers and miniature stickers, and will output in as little as 52s.
Prints are delivered using dye sublimation technology which is claimed to deliver "smooth, glossy prints with minimal graininess", says Canon.
Each print is finished with a special coating that protects it from spills, splashes and fingerprints.
Also worth a mention - both printers offer Pictbridge and Direct Print compatibility for one-touch printing straight from camera.
No prices as yet but we'll keep you posted. Cameras, Photo printers, Canon, Bluetooth
