Micro Orb spy-cam launches

Rotund device the size of a golf ball

30 April 2008 16:56 GMT / By Amy-Mae Elliott

The Micro Orb spy camera is described as a tiny, versatile professional DVR - a miniature surveillance video and audio recording camera concealed into a tiny 1.5 inch sphere the size of a golf ball.

The site selling the Micro Orb spy camera says it can be worn on a helmet to record sport activities or as a baby monitor, in your car for vehicle security - or our fave recommendation - as a mannequin's secret spy-cam eyeball.

It has a 640 x 480 pixel CMOS sensor, records MPEG4 video at 30fps onto microSD card, has a 3-hour rechargeable battery, video-out for big screen playback or USB hook up for your PC.

The Orb is priced at $300 on a pre-order special offer from Brick House Security.
