Disney and Pixar unveil Wall-E robot

We can feel a craze coming on...

Disney has unveiled a new line of robotic toys, created in partnership with Pixar Animation Studios, Thinkway Toys and WowWee.

The first toy to appear is Wall-E (presumably pronounced Wally) the animated star of Disney-Pixar's upcoming movie of the same name.

The "ultimate" Wall-E will set US kiddies back a whole chunk of pocket money on sale at $189.99 this summer but we'd imagine the film slash toy combo will be a successful one.

He'll have 10 motors for movement, a remote control for programming myriad movements and behaviors, sensors that'll allow him to respond to his environment in numerous ways, including obstacle, sound, and touch detection.

No word on a UK release just yet for this Johnny-5-esque creation, but we've no doubt he'll be heading here this summer too.
