Each network provides their own benefits when you take out a contract with them. You can now roam in Europe using your data with all of the major network providers.

On most EE contracts you will benefit from free six months Apple music for your iOS device. EE boasts speeds of up to 60Mbps and on some contracts, and you will get BT Sport for a specified time.

O2 offers free screen replacements with any contract that has over 30GB of data. On some contracts, you are also able to upgrade 12 months early. O2 also has Priority where you can get access to early tickets and the benefit of O2 Wi-Fi.

Vodafone allows you to roam using your data in 110 countries and it also offers you 10GB extra data for free on some contracts. You get access to Vodafone Entertainment on top.

Customers can get the very latest model every year with Swap12 on Sky Mobile, without having to switch contracts – ideal for iPhone users who always want to get the next model as soon as it launches.
Swap24 Offers Sky Mobile’s lowest monthly price on bestselling phones for people who are happy to upgrade every two years.
If Swap12 or Swap 24 customers choose not to upgrade their phone after one and two years respectively, their monthly cost drops for the rest of their contract.

With Roll, each month any unused data is automatically rolled over into the customer’s Sky Piggybank and saved for up to three years, for customers to dip into whenever they like.

With Sync, Sky TV customers can sync Sky+ recordings with their phone to create their own personal playlist to watch wherever they are.

SIM free allows you to purchase the iPhone X without the need to have a contract attached to it and this way works out the best if you are looking to save money in the long run.

Carphone Warehouse has a handy tool on its site which allows you to check if you're eligible for an upgrade. Find out if you can upgrade today.

If you can upgrade today, Carphone Warehouse has specific upgrade-only deals that aren't available to new customers.

Typically, as soon as pre-orders began at 8am on Friday 27 October shipping dates listed on Apple's own website started to be put back. At time of writing, shipping for all iPhone X models is five to six weeks after an order is placed. That could increase rapidly.

One option is to order the space grey 64GB iPhone X and pick it up from a store near you - that option presents itself at checkout. The other models are already unavailable for this choice.

Of course, you can also pop down to an Apple store today, even start queuing at the flagship Regent Street store in London now (stranger things have happened). Plenty of stock will be in store, so you shouldn't be disappointed.

Your best bet for getting the iPhone X today is to go to an Apple store.

Alternatively, we have found in the past that high-street third-party retailers and networks often have stock on the day and small or no queues.

Good luck.
