According to Nick Rodrigues, the LA-based artist that created this concept, the Porta-Party is for you "if you walk around with a party going on inside your head and you're just too shy to bust a move in public. Or if you like partying but hate people".

The iPod-inspired "Porta-Party" therefore is the place you can relieve your need to party it up - just go inside, plug in and er, rock out.
