New iMacs rumoured for next week

Desktop offering to get upgrade

A quick news flash for you from the Apple world, GeekSugar are stating their Apple insiders sources have given them the nod new iMacs are incoming next week.

With a traditional Tuesday launch rumoured for the new desktop offerings, the new models look to be upgrades rather than any kind of major redesign.

The girls are saying we can expect speed increases via Penryn processor upgrade and bigger hard drives but at the same, current, price points.

Giving the rumour a little more credence, the GeekSugar team were correct in calling the latest update to the MacBook and MacBook Pro lines, so if you were planning on purchasing an iMac, it might be worth holding out the few days until Tuesday.
