Facebook's "Chat" instant messaging service has been rolled out across the UK this morning. The service offers a more immediate way to communicate with Facebook buddies than the current email-like set-up.
Users of the social utility will now see a Chat toolbar in the bottom right of their screen and be given the option to appear online, and therefore chat-to-able, or to make themselves unavailable.
