NDrive launches "world's first" GPS with photo mapping

Taking navigation to the next level

The G280 and G800 from NDrive boast the world's first photo mapping system and feature real life photo images instead of the traditional 1D/3D maps found on other devices.

This next generation of technology allows you to see what your journey looks like from a real life perspective and you see what your destination looks like before setting off.

This unique real life 3D photo mapping system features five different perspectives, four diagonal perspectives plus a bird's eye view which the unit auto-selects depending on best view, although you can make manual selections.

Both devices are supplied with UK and Ireland Tele Atlas maps which are stored on an 8GB memory card, and this is what the units switch to if photo mapping is not available in the area (see list below for towns covered).

Promising easy set-up and an intuitive touchscreen interface the G280 and G800 also feature visual and audible speed camera alerts, pedestrian mode, POI database, rubber casing, media player, FM transmitter for car stereo hook-up and Bluetooth functionality.

The G280 and G800 will be available at the end of April from Smart Devices priced at £199.00 and £315.00 respectively.

N-Drive's photo mapping is currently available in the following UK cities; Aberdeen, Belfast, Birmingham, Blackpool, Bristol, Barnsley, Burnley, Cardiff, Coventry, Derby, Dundee, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Hull, Leeds, Leicester, Liverpool, London, Luton, Newcastle, Norwich, Nottingham, Plymouth, Preston, Reading, Sheffield, Stoke, Swansea and Wigan. Where photo mapping is not currently available, the G280 and G800 will automatically switch to standard Tele Atlas mapping. NDrive is working to include further UK cities.
