PhotoVu launches 19in digital picture frame

Pictures don't have to be just one image

PhotoVu, an American company has launched a 19in wireless digital LCD picture Frame for under $1000 (£600).

PhotoVu will even include a custom frame and mat made to order to match almost any décor.

The panel which is 1280x960 (4:3 ratio) in size offers 24bit colour. The monitor can be connected to any existing wireless network and streams images from your computers harddrive or network.

Alternatively users can plug in a USB storage drive for automatic, stand-alone playing of photos or opt for the optional 40Gb hard drive model.

The screen isn't operating system fussy either and supports Windows, Macintosh, Linux, and Unix
