Apple launch new products at MacExpo in San Francisco

Today, Steve Jobs, CEO of Apple announced a host of new products at MacExpo in San Francisco. Among the line up was a 15Gb Apple iPod, The 4Gb iPodMini, Apple Life 04' for the digital enthusiast, Final Cut Express 2 and a new batch of G5 Xservers.

With the 15Gb iPod, Apple now has a price point to match any budget. Suggested prices start at £200 for the new iPodMini and go up to £400 for the 40Gb model which can hold 10,000 songs.

Apple Life sees updates of iPhoto, iDVD and iMovie for £39.99 and these programmes build on versions shipped with OSX.

Those looking for an in between from iMovie and Final Cut Pro 4 can choose the new Express version and similar to Adobes LE editions Final Cut Express 2 looks to offer a cut down version of the bigger program at a fraction of the cost - £200 compared to £800.
