BT Vision has announced its first subscription movie package, "PictureBox", an on demand service which allows viewers to watch films whenever they want.

The PictureBox service will launch on 5 May and provide a selection of current and library feature films from NBC Universal's catalogue of movies.

For £5 a month, subscribers to the service can choose from a selection of 28 films at any given time, including titles like The Bourne Ultimatum, Knocked Up, Atonement, The Kingdom and Elizabeth: The Golden Age.

BT Vision says many of the films on offer will not have have yet been seen on free-to-air television in the UK and that titles will be refreshed on a weekly basis.

  • picturebox is a great package, its dynamic enough so that theres always something new to watch, and theres also frequent classics (or cheese) like Jaws, and The Fog. it may not suit everyone but for the price, i have no complaints. Posted by Shell, UK
  • Nah, it a scam, if you are on BT Vision, you'd better stick to simple video-on-demand service, can get any movie from a library, some of them already in HD. Why on earth pay extra subscription. Torrents are also your friends :-)
