Classic retro game Pipemania is to make a come back this summer on a games console near you.

Available on the Nintendo DS, Wii, PSP, PS2 and PC, gamers will once again have to race against time to lay some pipe before the liquid starts to flow.

For those not in the know about one of the most addictive games of the 80s, Pipemania is a puzzle game in which players lay down a pre-ordained set of pipes on a tiled grid in order to keep the Flooze, a constant flowing substance that speeds up with progression, moving through the pipes as long as possible without overflowing.

Empire Interactive is promising 70 levels with seven different themes as well as single player or co-op for competitive play between two players mode.

The original version of Pipemania was released in 1989 and followed by Pipe Dreams in 1991.
