Sony has launched the "picture perfect" Bravia E4000 series that "lets you create a personal artistic statement and display breathtaking still images for everyone to enjoy".
Apparently proving that your telly does not need to be a boring black rectangle, the new sets, available as 32-inch and 40-inch Full HD models are designed to be wall-mounted in order "to become an integral part of your personal living space alongside other framed works of art".
There is also a 26-inch model, also wall mountable, but described as "ideal for freestanding on a desk or table top with family photos".
The choice of four colour frame options "to blend effortlessly with contemporary or traditional interiors" are Midnight Sky, Aluminium, Pearly White and Dark Walnut.
The E4000 series features Sony's Picture Frame Mode, which displays images on screen either from your personal collection, via USB, or from the telly's internal gallery of "six artistic masterpieces" ranging from landscapes to Pop Art and van Gogh.
