Following the "First Access" limited beta launch for N81 owners in February, Nokia has thrown open the virtual doors of its N-Gage gaming service to a wider audience.Although an official announcement is not due to go out until Monday, the N-Gage blog has trumpeted the news, including the availablity of the new N-Gage application to download:
"We are live! The games, the devices, and the community are all here for you to finally get your teeth into. The Forums are back up and the new N-Gage application is here."
It is still only Nokia Nseries devices that the platform is compatible with, namely the N81, N81 8GB, N82, N95 and N95 8GB, but Nokia has promised wider device support soon. Gaming, Phones, Mobile phone games, Nokia, N-Gage
