3, the 3G mobile phone operator in the UK, has launched a new service for those looking to get in shape for the summer.Atkins2Go is a database for your mobile phone that will enable you to look up the carbohydrate values in various foods, log foods eaten, and track your carbohydrate intake and weight loss over time.
Atkins2Go is currently only available only on 3, however the application should be available for other operators later in the year.
It's priced in a similar way to the 3 games offering. The software can either be bought for a one off charge of £5 or customers can pay 50p to use the service for a few days.
There are supposedly over 20 million Atkins dieter across the globe. Even quirkier, the company behind the application is called Digital Chocolate, now where is that Mars bar? Phones, Apps
