GN has announced the launch of the Jabra BT4010 Bluetooth headset.

Featuring a "smart display" which is positioned in the centre of the device, the Jabra BT4010 claims to be the only headset that empowers you to check battery level, connection status and call status in a single glance.

Designed to eliminate the need to scroll through endless menus, the BT4010's "smart display" LCD feature is modelled on screens of mobile phones meaning users no longer have to guess or interpret flashing lights to understand the battery level, connection and call status as all this information is available by viewing the display.

The headset is lightweight, boasts up to 6 hours of talk time, boasts auto-pairing and e-SCO sound technology, it can be worn with or without an earhook and comes with a selection of two hooks for added comfort.

The BT4010 will be available this spring in the States for $59.99. UK/European pricing and availability to be confirmed.
