LG has launched a new mobile in Korea, the LG-LH5000, that the company has dubbed the "Ice Cream Phone".

With ice cream-inspired colours, the 13.6mm-thick clamshell comes in three flavours - vanilla, strawberry and pistachio.

When the phone receives a call or message, the pastel toned coloured lights on the front panel "shine" and tooth-ache cute emoticons such as a heart or a smiling face are displayed.

Other features included a 2.2-inch color screen with QVGA resolution, email, video calling, electronic dictionary and 2-megapixel camera. Sweet.

Anyone else suspect that the Chocolate manufacturer's design team are holding their brain storming sessions in the company canteen?
