Unlike other years, Mobile World Congress in Barcelona has been strangely light on wearable technology this year. There were floods of smartwatches and fitness trackers on the show floor in 2014 and 2015, but relatively few this time around.
That doesn't mean that the industry has turned its back on the tech, no siree. Instead, the biggest manufacturers clearly don't see this year's MWC as the ideal place to showcase new wrist-worn gadgetry. Perhaps we'll see more at Baselworld in Switzerland in March - after all, that is a watch convention.
There are still some smart device makers keen to show off their wares at MWC though, which get even more attention when they aren't hiding in the shadows of the better known brands. And that's why we've decided to round up some of the best we've seen during the event.
In addition, manufacturers seem to stress how important virtual reality will be in 2016, and how mobile will help to drive that market. So we focus on some of the best wearables in that area too.
Just have a flick through our gallery above to find out what our wearables highlights are, accompanied by a few reasons why.
We'll also be updating this round-up as we see more devices.
