Shoppers in the South of England will soon be able to pick up the latest iPod or PowerBook with the announcement from Apple that it will be launching its third store in the UK.

Following the success of stores in London and Birmingham, Apple is to open a third UK store, this time in the Bluewater shopping center in Kent.

Apple has confirmed the launch for this Saturday - the 9 July.

To kick of the 9am store opening customers will be given the chance to enter the Grand Opening Sweepstake to win a Digital Lifestyle Collection valued at £2145. The winner will receive a 20-inch flat-panel iMac with SuperDrive, an iPod mini, a Canon lxus 40 digital camera, a Canon MV800 digital camcorder and a Canon iP6000D printer. Terms and Conditions apply.

Additionally the first 1000 people through the doors will receive a free Apple commemorative T-shirt.
Like previous stores, the new store will feature a Genius Bar for customers to receive onsite technical service and support from Mac Geniuses and stock all available product lines.

Apple's London store launch saw huge crowds and queues around the block and Apple is hoping for the same again but this time in the south of England.
