You've got to admire the attention to 80s detail with this iPod boombox, not only is there a built-in iPod dock but it operates via a cassette-style spring-loaded door.

The dock adaptor will work with most iPods that it charges and controlled via push button controls at the front - another nod to retro tech.

Inputs at the front support USB flash drive and SD/MMC cards for MP3 playback, while there's an AV output at the back for TV or monitor connectivity when using video iPods.

There's also an AM/FM radio tuner, with 20 station presets for each, and a clock with alarm and sleep functions.

The sound offered is 12 watts with separate bass and treble controls, can be run off AC power or batteries and it comes complete with a remote control. On sale in the States now for $220.
