CES isn't always just about the gadgets that are going to change your life, help you enjoy television in a better way, or make you lust after the latest state of the art smartphone. Oh no, it's about pushing what is possible with technology, whether that's a good thing or not.

With more than 3,800 exhibitors revealing latest technologies across more than 2.47 million net sq. ft. of exhibit space you are bound to find a few odd, wacky, crazy, weird, wonderful, and down right silly gadgets at the world's largest consumer electronics show.

Whether that's a $10,000 rig to help you believe you are flying when wearing a Virtual Reality headset, a robotic cocktail maker that promises to mix you the perfect vodka martini, or even a pressure pad to text you to tell you you've left your baby in the car, you are well catered for.

Here we've rounded up some of the best we've seen from the show floor in Las Vegas, so you can either have a chuckle or grab your wallet.

Fortune favours the brave goes the saying, but sometimes that bravery, certainly in the gadget world, can get a little too brave.
