The world of dating is tough and what better to break the ice than shooting the proverbial out of each other?

Stacy and Mike Figueroa met on Xbox LIVE but, after many hours of firing bullets at each other, put down their virtual weapons, and had a baby together.

Victoria Marie Figueroa owes her existence to none other than Tom Clancy and Rainbow Six Lockdown.

The duo started off as online enemies, later became team-mates and then romance bloomed in the battlefields.

"Funny thing is, we hated each other at first, but somehow ended up falling in love", said Stacy.

"I was from Georgia and he was from the Bronx. On a leap of faith we met, and we have been together ever since. If it wasn't for Xbox LIVE, our paths would have never crossed."

Victoria, who was born 27 September 2007, isn't, however, the first Xbox baby.

The parents of Noah James Osmer Pitts, who was born in January of 2005, met whilst playing Ghost Recon: Island Thunder - another Tom Clancy game.

And the first Twitter baby may soon be on its way.

American Stephanie Sullivan may be the first woman to accept a marriage proposal via the microblogging service.

Her fiance, Greg Rewis, wrote: "@stefsull - ok. for the rest of the twitter-universe (and this is a first, folks) - WILL YOU MARRY ME?"

Sullivan's reply: "@garazi - OMG - Ummmmm... I guess in front of the whole twitter-verse I'll say -- I'd be happy to spend the rest of my geek life with you."

Awwwwwwwwwwww!
