The LG G5 has already begun to trickle out in various leaks and rumour stories but now the mother load has landed. The LG G5 specs have leaked pretty much giving everything away early.

The leak comes from a Weibo tipster named Zealer who posted the specs. What adds weight to the otherwise no-namer's claims is the fact the post was swiftly taken down. But not before the information had already been outed. Also the specs seem to fit with what LG would go for after last year's poor mobile sales, as opposed to being ridiculous claims.

According to the leak the LG G5 will come with a 5.6-inch QHD resolution display making it slightly larger than the G4. Powering the handset should be the latest 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 meaning more power and greater battery consumption efficiency. There should also be at least 3GB or RAM.

The camera on the LG G5 should be a 21-megapixel rear snapper, suggesting it may be Sony's sensor that is widely used in smartphones with that many megapixels. There should also be an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie snapper.

This leak has also reinforced the previously rumoured iris scanner technology in the LG G5.

With rumours suggesting Samsung is due to release its Galaxy S7 early it looks like LG is going to bring the G5 early in the year too with a February release.
