Apple's next event will occur in March 2016.

9to5Mac has claimed that Apple's upcoming event will see the introduction of a second-generation Apple Watch.

That shouldn't be too surprising - considering Apple held a "Spring Forward" event last March for the first Apple Watch. The company tends to stick to a pattern when it comes to scheduling events and unveiling new products.

Pocket-lint has rounded up all the latest rumours and reports on the Apple Watch 2 here. It is expected to ship by April. Alongside its unveiling, Apple might also debut the Phone 6C. It is though to be a budget iPhone with a 4-inch display and colourful metal build. You can read all about that device here.

The Apple Watch might feature a FaceTime camera as well as improved wireless, sleep-tracking, and health-sensor technologies, among other things, while the the iPhone 6C will sit somewhere between the iPhone 5S and iPhone 6S. It could even sport the A9 chip. It looks like we'll know for sure by March.

The March event in 2016 will be the second March event scheduled by Apple. At last year’s event, Apple also debuted the 12-inch MacBook. The company held a March event in 2012 as well to unveil the first Retina iPad.
