GoPro has dropped the price on the latest in its camera range, the more affordable and totally newly designed smaller camera called the Hero4 Session, just in time for Christmas.
The GoPro Hero4 Session, announced in July, is a more affordable camera which still offers the action cam smarts, only in a more compact form.
The Session, described as "about the size of an ice cube" is waterproof, weighs 73g, shoots in 1080p60 for video and 8-megapixel photos plus is Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled.
The Hero4 Session is waterproof to 10 metres without a separate housing. It is also ready to be mounted with traditional GoPro accessories like helmet, chest, board, bike, gear and pole mounts totalling 30 variants.
The GoPro App will work with the Session to show on a connected smartphone what's being captured live as well as offering editing and sharing options.
The GoPro Hero4 Session is £160 and is available to buy now.
GoPro founder and CEO, Nick Woodman, said: "The waterproof Hero4 Session is so durable and easy to use. It’s the perfect way to capture rough-and-tumble family activities this holiday season. From snowball fights to snowboarding, the footage will look so immersive you’ll feel like you’re reliving the experience."
