Armadillo's scooter wear collection is designed using a super-tough material called d3o, which will protect bikers from scrapes and scratches if they go flying off their machine. And the company has now launched new scooter wear for its Spring/Summer collection.
New launches include the men’s Soft Shell Hoody and Classic Macintosh alongside the women’s Funnel Neck Jacket and Scarlett Macintosh.
The Funnel Neck Fitted Jacket is 100% waterproof and breathable, and is bright red so everyone is going to notice you.
For men, the Soft Shell Hoody is windproof, waterproof and fully breathable.
All of the Armadillo kit uses d3o components in high impact areas including the elbows, shoulders, and knees.
Megawhat reporter, Stuart Miles, tested d3o when it first came onto the market.
It contains intelligent molecules, which flow freely under normal conditions, making the material soft and flexible, but which lock together on shock, providing great protection on impact (namely when Stuart was told to bash someone wearing it!).
The Armadillo range now includes hoodies, jackets, parkas, gloves and waterproof trousers. Gadgets, GeekBooTeek, Armadillo, Clothing
