Firefox has updated its companion tool for eBay users, which was first launched last May.

The tool just makes it easier for Firefox users to access their eBay bids and items that they are selling using a side bar.

It also offered status alerts to provide users with important trading updates, such as when they have been outbid on an item.

But Firefox has now introduced a new version of the tool.

New features include drag and drop functionality within the eBay Sidebar; audio alerts and integration into any type of computer (Apple Mac, Linux and Windows) that has Firefox installed on it; and also growl notifications for alerts when using Apple Macs.

The tool also uses Firefox's built-in anti-phishing protection.
