After a series of teases over the last few days, HP has finally revealed its Star Wars-themed laptop, which is coming later this month, starting at €799.

The Star Wars Special Edition Notebook is designed around the dark side of the force, with a Galactic Empire feel to both the outside of the device and in pre-installed themes.

Stormtroopers adorn the keyboard, although X-Wing heads-up display graphics are on the touchpad. The red backlight behind the keys mirrors the lightsabers that tend to be waved around by Sith Lords.

The notebook itself has up to 7 hours of battery life, a Full HD (1920 x 1080) 15.6-inch display. It can come with up to 2TB of built-in storage and either an i5 or i7 6th generation Intel processor. Up to 12GB of RAM can also be specified.

Gamers can also choose Nvidia 940M graphics.

The Special Edition Notebook can be matched with an optional Star Wars sleeve too, which costs an additional €39.99.

A launch event in Barcelona had Jedis wandering about in character. Bloody Jedis. So righteous. Give us a good Dark Trooper any day.
