The net's been around for 16 years - where do you fit in?

Well I must say that I'm feeling pretty chipper today. I've just had years taken off by this little site. Apparently I'm a sixth former again! (Admittedly that's not all good news - my A level results were not my proudest moment...)

Regardless it's nice to be young again - at least in an internet sense.

This site, brought to you by those nice people where the future's always bright, calculates your internet age from your answers to a simple questionnaire. All good fun, but there's a serious side to this which becomes apparent as you move through the questions and then when you get your result.

Based on your answers, you'll get recommendations - in my case it was lots of sites that seemed to be suggesting that I should just get out more - but some users might find that certain of their answers will have sent them in search of more serious help.

If you've ever been disturbed or disconcerted by something or somebody you've come into contact with online, this questionnaire tries to get you to (a) recognise that and (b) suggest places you might get some advice.

The research results will be used to help Orange create a new internet safety education module to be used in schools nationwide next year.

A fun little exercise with a heart of gold this one. Sorry that should be a heart of Orange.
