WEBSITE OF THE DAY - musicmakesfriends.com

Store, organise and share your favourite media. Again

Music, as they say, makes the world go round and according to this site it can also make you friends.

Not sure about that, but we like the site none the less. Free membership offers you 2GB of storage for your music tracks videos and photos. These you can then access from any internet-connected PC or share with other users.

Sound familiar? We featured www.jukefly.com a couple of weeks ago and this is a very similar service.

This one has the backing of some of the biggest record companies in the business though - and this gives it an air of respectability - and also allows you to listen to their back catalogues. But, to be honest we preferred Jukefly's overall look.

MusicMakesFriends is undoubtedly clever and useful and all the better for being free, but we can't help feeling it looks overbusy and a bit dated from the outset.

A great concept though, so once you're past the aesthetics, you've got everything you need to store, organise and share your favourite media.
