Philips has launched the HTS8140 Ambisound Soundbar, all-in-one home cinema sound solution.

Angled as perfect to match Philips' Ambilight flat TVs, the design is aligned with the company's "Design Collection" key features.

The slim Soundbar has a flatter speaker system with refinement of the angled driver positioning, plus touch screen controls that are described as "a delight to behold and use".

This latest iteration of the Philips Soundbar family claims to feature a number of enhancements and refinements over its predecessors.

Philips says it offers a wider sound stage, making it ideal for 42-inch TVs, delivering surround sound that fills up more space. Pricing TBC.
