Apple's latest smartphones are available in stores from today. The iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus are both on sale from Apple, networks and other retailers but you still might not have made a decision over which one to get, or whether you need an upgrade.

Never fear. We've been analysing and reviewing every element to give you the ammunition to make a considered decision over whether to get the iPhone 6S or iPhone 6S Plus, or even if you need to upgrade to either.

So we thoroughly advise you to check out the following features and reviews on each of the elements for both phones to get the best overview of what they have to offer.

Both phones have been given the fill Pocket-lint test for quite a while before release, so both of our reviews are in-depth and cover exactly what each of the phones is like to use on a daily basis.

The iPhone 6S review has video and picture examples taken using the new camera, and the iPhone 6S Plus review focuses on some of the extra features, including the optical image stabilisation for video.

As well as review the devices individually, we looked at both together to give an opinion on what they each offer and to give our thoughts on which one to choose if you are undecided. The iPhone 6S vs iPhone 6S Plus comparison takes weight and size into account, and also factors in exactly what you might want to do with each phone.

We also reviewed Apple's latest build of its operating system, which both phones run. Our iOS 9 review looks at many of the key features of the software (now on build 9.1 because of a minor bug patch).

For those considering sticking with their current iPhones and are yet to update to iOS 9, we also gave 11 reasons to do so.

When Apple first announced both of the new devices, it spent a while explaining the capabilities of the new 12-megapixel iSight camera found on each. It also revealed that it had given phones to professional photographers to see what they could do without the need for any external editing tools. These are what they came up with. More have since surfaced here.

We also explained how the new camera works in a handy guide.

One of the major new features for both handsets is 3D Touch. It's a very different way of interacting with a phone, so we detailed how it works and what it can offer in a handy guide.

In our opinion, if you are looking to adopt either of Apple's new phones, you should also deck either out in a fancy case. That's why we came up with some of the best currently available to give you an idea of what's available.
