The Pocket-lint Gadget Awards are now in their 12th year, coming together annually to celebrate everything great about gadgets and tech. This year, we're partnering with superfast EE to bring you the EE Pocket-lint Gadget Awards.

As 2015 nears its end, it's time to look back on reflect on what a huge year it's been for gadgets and consumer technology.

The EE Pocket-lint Gadget Awards looks to reward those devices that are the best in class throughout the year, and the rules are simple: firstly, we have to have seen and used the device in question; secondly, it has to have been launched within the last year, since the close of the 2014 Awards.

So today marks the beginning of the end. In a gadget race that lasts the full year, we're in the final furlong, striding towards Awards night towards the end of November.

That's where you come in. We need to know what you think are the best phones, cameras, toys, televisions, and gadgets of 2015.

If we've not reviewed a product, we need to see it for it to be considered, and we'll be keeping the long list open right up until we announce the shortlist at the beginning of November.

This year, there are 12 categories in the EE Pocket-lint Gadget Awards:

  • Best game
  • Best camera
  • Best phone
  • Best tablet / 2-in-1
  • Best laptop
  • Best home entertainment device
  • Best headphones
  • Best TV
  • Best smarthome device
  • Best speaker
  • Best wearable
  • Best connected toys in association with

We then have a final category for the Gadget of the Year, the highest honour reserved for the device that's had the biggest impact in 2015.

All you have to do is contact us through the normal channels to make sure that your best products will be in with a chance of making it onto the shortlist, and considered for the ultimate honour of winning an EE Pocket-lint Gadget Award.

If that's via Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram, make sure you use the #eeplawards hashtag.

We will be confirming the date of awards night, the elite panel of judges, long list nominations and more in due course.
