The voting for the YouTube annual awards, that celebrates the best user generated clips of the last year, is open now, but not for long.

With categories that include instructional, eyewitness, comedy, music, politics, short film and sports, among others, it's a showcase of what the world's most popular video site offers.

There's a wide range of content up for nominations from clips of otters holding hands and cutesy cats to informative tutorials on how to screenprint a tee, or solve a Rubik's cube to terrifying videos of tornadoes to the "don't tase me, bro" student protest clip.

Voting continues through 19 March so you've just got time to have your say in what you think should be recognised as the best of YouTube 2007. Shown above - our favourite from the "creative" category, some human Tetris.
