The next Nexus 5 for 2015 has been leaking all over the place lately, suggesting it's nearly ready for an unveil, with 29 September the date that's been suggested.

The leak, which comes from an internal source, shows a photo of the next LG made Nexus in what's claimed to be an internal company slide. It is called Project N3 and also comes with specs, according to the source.

The Nexus 5 (2015) may only sport 2GB of RAM suggesting it will be a more affordable handset.

Other specs, that also suggest this will be a more affordable Nexus, include a 1.8GHz hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and a 5.2-inch 1080p display.

Connectivity should be good with Cat 6 LTE, while cameras should be reasonable with a 12.3-megapixel snapper plus laser autofocus and LED TrueTone flash in the rear and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter in the front. Laser autofocus sounds right as that's something LG has used for a while in its phones.

A fingerprint scanner and 2700mAh battery are also listed. The Nexus 5 (2015) should, as expected, launch with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system. It should also be available in 32GB and 64GB versions.
