Planet Rock plays top 40 driving tunes of all time

To celebrate the launch of the Pure Highway, the adaptor that gives you DAB radio in your car, DAB station Planet Rock and Pure Digital have conducted a poll to establish the top 40 rock driving tunes of all time.

The poll received over 11,000 entries with Planet Rock listeners voting Radar Love by Golden Earring to the number one spot. Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf and Highway Star by Deep Purple took the number two and three position.

6. Freebird – Lynyrd Skynyrd

7. More than a feeling – Boston

10. Ace of Spades - Motorhead

Listeners can tune in to the DAB station to hear the countdown of the "Top 40 rock driving tunes of all time" this bank holiday Monday 24 March from 1pm-6pm.
