Amazon is throwing a twentieth birthday party and you're all invited along for the mega sales. Well, if you're a Prime member, anyway.

Amazon has announced that it will be running lots of deals on Prime Day, Wednesday 15 July, so you can snap up a bargain if you're a Prime member. If you're not a member, signing up for the free 30-day trial will see you eligible.

Prime Day will happen in countries offering Prime, so that includes US, UK, Spain, Japan, Italy, Germany, France, Canada and Austria.

The deals will start at midnight, giving you the chance to snap up a bargain across Amazon, covering electronics, toys, films, clothes, garden, sports and outdoor equipment, so there's sure to be something you want.

Running in the same way as Amazon's Lightning Deals, you'll find new deals appearing as frequently as every 10 minutes.

"Prime Day is a 1-day only event filled with more deals than Black Friday, exclusively for Prime members around the globe. Members tell us every day how much they love Prime and we will keep making it better," said Greg Greeley, Vice President Amazon Prime.

To celebrate Prime Day, Amazon signed up artists in local territories to great public art for everyone to enjoy. You can follow that adventure in the video below. Remember to mark your calendar for 15 July, and if you're not a Prime member, you might want to sign-up for the free trial.
