Polaroid shows off concept TV

Design to offer any pattern you want

Polaroid has shown off a prototype television design that would allow patriotic Brits to show off how much they love the UK and in particular the Union Flag.

Like something out of a British version of a Michael Bay movie, the LCD television's casing is adorned with the Union Flag colours allowing its owner to show their love for Team GB.

"The idea is to prove that something like this is possible", a spokesman for the company told Pocket-lint. "We could create custom screens for gaming fans, if they want them. We could do a Halo one or maybe one for GTA IV."

Although no specific launch date has been given or any video game tie-up announced as yet, the company says it has high hopes for the concept.

As for price, again nothing is confirmed however our source did say that consumers should expect to pay a premium over a standard set.

God save the Queen.
