Sony has just dubbed itself the new home of Call of Duty, after announcing a partnership with Activision.
The company has announced that the next entry within the franchise, called Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, will launch first as an exclusive beta for the PlayStation 4 in August before being available on other platforms like the Xbox One. PlayStation gamers will also be the first to receive DLC map packs, too.
Mark Lamia from Treyarch also confirmed that four-player co-op will be exclusive to next-gen consoles and PC. Apart from all that, Sony showed off a new trailer for Black Ops 3. It is two-minutes long and reveals the multiplayer component and various maps with snow as well as jungle and mountainous terrains.
