During the EA keynote at E3 2015, BioWare decided to shed some more light on its next Mass Effect.

The game is titled Mass Effect: Andromeda. BioWare has promised to deliver it by the holidays in 2016. The company previously teased that the game would feature new species and alien races as well as an online component - and it won't focus on the original trilogy's narrative, which followed the story of Commander Shepard.

The new game will basically be a first entry to the revamped series. BioWare has already published a behind-the-scenes look at the game, while a preview of the game is now being shown at E3. It appears to mix Sci-Fi with action, and there's even some classic Western elements. Just watch the new announcement trailer below.

The actual video has the following description: "A new adventure awaits in the Mass Effect universe. With stunning visuals and a new galaxy to discover, BioWare delivers the next generation of space exploration."

Mass Effect: Andromeda will launch for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
