There has been plenty of chatter online since details of a new Logitech steering wheel accessory leaked over the last few days and now the company has confirmed its existence. Not only that, but there's a second wheel too.
The Logitch G920 Driving Force wheel is designed specifically for Xbox One but will also work on a PC. It has dual-motor force feedback transmission with "anti-backlash helical gearing. The rim is wrapped in hand-stitched leather and the tasty build quality doesn't stop there, it also has stainless steel throttle, brake and clutch peddles.
A similar wheel has also been announced for the PS4, which will also work with a PC, so computer gamers get a choice between them.
The Logitech G29 Driving Force wheel has exactly the same specifications and build quality as its Xbox One stablemate, expect all the controls are specifically designed for the PlayStation.
Both wheels are also compatible with an optional Driving Force Shifter, a six-speed manual gear stick with push-down reverse.
They will retail for a penny shy of £300, with the PS4-centric G29 first to hit market in July. The G920 will follow in October.
The price of the optional Driving Force Shifter manual gear add-on is £45.
