Roku has introduced themes for users to install on their media streamers that include favourite shows and movies, such as Star Trek and The Big Lebowski.
Although you could change the colour of the homescreen from the traditional purple in the past, you can now change the background image and style of the main homescreen too.
British and Canadian Roku box owners can choose between 10 different themes to begin with, costing from 69p to £1.99 each. And as well as two for Star Trek - the original series and the Next Generation - there are themes based on Fast & Furious and, for the kids, Adventure Time too.
Roku claims that there are more on their way.
This week, Roku also rolled out a major software update to its players that added better search functionality, which searches across participating channels to find content on each - with Netflix, Snagfilms and Popcornflix already signed up. Plus, a "My Feed" feature gives users the chance to follow upcoming entertainment to get reminders when the content is available on one of the channels.
And the company released an upgraded Roku 2 box in the UK, which has been improved, especially with speed of use.
